Out of Hours Service
If you need medical advice when the surgery is closed please call 111. You can ring 111, 365 days a year, to reach a full range of local health services, including out of hours, doctors, community nurses, emergency dental care and late opening chemists.
There are no Saturday morning surgeries.If you have an urgent medical problem outside of surgery hours you should call 111.
However, if you have an urgent medical problem between the hours of 08:00 and 08:30, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) please call 03000 243 334.
We now offer extended hours, 07:00-08:00, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Marcham Road Health Centre.

Accident and Emergency
The Minor Injury Unit at Abingdon Hospital, Marcham Road, Abingdon is open 10:00– 10:30 daily. Staff there are able to treat: minor bumps to the head, sprains, broken bones, fractures and dislocated fingers, minor burns, cuts and bruises, nose bleeds, bites and stings, simple ear, nose and eye complaints such as removal of splinters or foreign bodies.
When the Minor Injury Unit is closed the nearest emergency department is the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington, Oxford. Tel: 01865 741166.
