Training future General Practitioners – the Registrar
We are a training practice and each year we accept registrars to work and learn with us. These doctors are always experienced and have usually been qualified for at least three years. The registrars have their own room and consult patients on their own. They do sometimes video their surgery consultations. These videos are viewed and used for educational purposes only and are destroyed after 12 months. We always ask for patient’s consent to be videoed and they are given the option not to take part.
As part of the practice’s contribution to medical research, we provide completely anonymised patient level treatment information to certain reputable third party organisations. Individuals cannot be identified from this information. If you would like more information or would like to be excluded from any future medical research please contact our General Manager
