COVID-19 Spring booster

Posted on:

COVID-19 is more serious in older people and in people with certain underlying health conditions. For these reasons, people aged 75 years and over, those in care homes, and those aged 6 months and over with a weakened immune system are being offered a spring dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

The NHS national booking system has now opened for spring Covid-19 vaccination bookings with those eligible able to book appointments from next week. NHS England explains who can book and how to book.

If you are housebound and we organised for your Autumn booster to be done at home or in your Care Home, we will have already sent your details to the Oxfordshire Covid vaccine at Home service for the Spring booster. If you are newly housebound or new to us and would to check you are on the list, please contact us without delay.
