If you want a referral for NHS physiotherapy, you can now refer yourself without making an appointment to see your GP. The Connect Health PhysioNow service is for self-referral. You can self-refer online or via telephone. Their website also has self-help guides (videos and information leaflets). The general physiotherapy service includes physio for pain in the lower back, knee, ankle, shoulder, neck, Achilles heel, plus pelvic health, bowel and bladder.
